Student Leadership Training Camp

Just as what we normally did for the previous years, at the beginning of a year, we will organize a Student Leadership Training Camp. The purpose of this camp is to motivate and set a direction for the ministry, so that every student leader would know what they should do and implement in their respective cell groups of Christian Student Fellowship (Persekutuan Pelajar Kristian-PPK). Besides that, in this brief and concise camp, the leaders will also be trained on how to guide and help the cell group members so that they will know and experience Christ’s love in their lives. There were 30 student leaders from 5 different cell groups of PPK around Kota Kinabalu who attended this leadership training camp.
The followings are the camp activities which we were able to carry out during the past 3 months. Camping is a very practical and strategic approach to reach out to the youths. Besides motivation and discipleship, we also include games and sharing time among the students. This is one of the most precious sessions where some of the students would even shed tears sharing their personal testimony of how their lives being touched through the motivation and sharing of the participants in the camp. Praise God for His great love and care, I believe this is all by your prayer supports that our young generation are now turning back to our Father in Heaven. Thank you so much, God bless.

Prayer request:
1. Pray for the student leaders in PPK that they will take up the role to disciple and be a role model to the other students, whether through their studies or their personal life.
2. Pray for us, as the discipler and facilitator of each cell group to have wisdom and teamwork among the students and advisors of PPK.
3. Pray for our coming events:
· 29 April – 01 May 2011- Youth Motivation Camp in Ranau.
· 01-05 June 2011- We will be organizing “HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCE”, pray for well preparation so that everything will run smoothly.
